XIGA: Highest-quality potable water
High-grade reusable waste water applications or even potable applications are not always the desired methods for water purification, because microbiology and dissolved substances (such as nitrate and salinity) are not removed. In those cases, reverse osmosis is needed. However, reverse osmosis membranes are very susceptible to (micro)biological fouling.
